I’m Elizabeth DiAlto, creator of Wild Soul Movement, Host of the EMBODIED Living Podcast (formerly Truth Telling with Elizabeth DiAlto), and the founder of this Institute.
The Institute for EMBODIED Living is the culmination of the last 12 years of my life’s work across several different industries: Fitness, Self-Help, Wellness, Spirituality, Coaching, Personal Development and Healing.
It's also informed by my personal and ongoing healing and education around: Identity (being a multi-ethnic / non black woman of color), Body Image, Codependency, Emotional Abuse, Anti-Racism, Social Justice, and Collective Liberation.
The main offering here is The EMBODIED Movement Studio - an online movement studio where I teach Wild Soul MOVEMENT, Wild Soul SWEAT, Erotic Body Movement, Sacred Body Work and Breath-Based Meditation classes several times each week.
All of these practices are designed to help you get out of your head and into your body.
This doesn't mean you leave your head behind or that your mind is the enemy.
It just means you'll be better able to live a life that's more informed by your soul's wisdom, rather than any trauma, harmful programming, beliefs, or unconscious biases you've had.
To be even more specific...
The practices work on you physically, mentally, emotionally + spiritually, and they're designed to help you do three things:
1. INTEGRATE any learning, healing, growth or personal development you're engaged in.
2. REGULATE your thoughts, feelings, energy and emotions.
3. CULTIVATE self love, trust and acceptance, surrender, trust, openness, receptivity, boundaries, passion, purpose, integrity, accountability, resiliency, inner wisdom, wholeness, JOY, and more.
The women who have the best experiences are are typically some combination of: deeply feeling, highly sensitive, empathic, intuitive, soulful, big-hearted, generous and nurturing.
They often also identify as healers, leaders, space holders or caretakers; professionally, within their own families, or both.
In other words -
This work works best for those who are more oriented towards collective wellbeing than radical individualism.
If any of these descriptors fit you - you already know there are A LOT of thoughts, feelings, energy, emotions and information to sift through on the daily.
Having consistent practices and supportive community to help you do it are absolutely game changing.
"The Wild Soul Movement practice always resonates and reconnects me to myself and Erotic Body Movement sessions feel like they go deeper on a spiritual level. I love the idea of doing these practices 'together' on live streams. Feels like a gym membership but a membership for the soul."
- Alvely A
"I love having access to the community and having a sacred space to share my experiences, and I also love how doing Wild Soul Movement gets me into my body and out of my head. Through the WSM practice, I'm building a relationship with my body and learning how to trust her and appreciate her more." - Jillian
"I love the relaxed movement in Wild Soul Movement. I haven't had a regular movement practice in years and I felt like I could easily do this. I wasn’t worried about doing it "right”, just enjoying the movement. Erotic Body Movement class was my favorite!! It's exactly what I’ve needed as I get more in touch with my sensual self. And, I loved having the Masterclasses along with the movement classes." - Alisa S

I also train teachers to teach in the online studio or incorporate the EMBODIED tools and practices I provide into their own bodies of work. The next Teacher Training kicks off in August 2020. Details coming in July
My favorite prayer that I've been saying everyday for almost a decade now is, "Use me, move me, make me a force for expansion, for love, for good and for healing."
For that reason every month I send 10% of all membership sales to groups or organizations that provide healing services or access to healing services to women who wouldn't be able to access them otherwise.
For Summer 2020 our recipient is The Loveland Foundation - an organization committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls.
Thank you so much for checking out the Institute - I can't wait to meet those of you who decide to join the EMBODIED Movement Studio community!
